Holiday Shopping: Gift Ideas for the Cook or the Foodie in Your Life.

Happy Holiday Shopping Season!

It’s crazy how massive the shopping is this time of year, you can literally find ANYTHING. And usually without even leaving your house thanks to the internet. If you are still wondering what to get some fine folks left on your list, may be I can help? Or maybe you’re looking for a hostess gift or holiday party gift. Here are some kitchen gifts perfect for the friend or family member that loves to cook, or the kitchen hoarder, or anyone that wants to have life in the kitchen be easier.

I know I’ve shared this before, a citrus squeezer is the best. It’s the one item that no one actually needs but if you have it you use it all the time. I love using fresh lemons and limes in my recipes. It is the perfect touch to any recipe and I’d be lost without mine. This amazon one is less than $15 dollars too!

Macy’s has a ton of gift sets on sale, and this wine & cheese set is adorable, and perfect for someone that loves to entertain but has everything.

Huge Sale Alert! This Pyrex 22 Piece Food Storage set is usually $79 and is on sale for $34 dollars at Macy’s. I don’t think you can go wrong with these as gifts. They have a plastic lid, and a glass container. Easy clean up, and way better than plastic.

I don’t think any kitchen is complete with a Crock-Pot. Perfect for anyone, the busy professional, the mom, the college student, or the one person that can’t really cook that great. In the last few years, I’ve really been thankful for my Crock-Pot. I use it about once a week, it’s nice to break out when you know it’s a crazy week ahead but you still want a healthy home cooked meal.

For just $30 you can score this food processor from Amazon, it’s a 10 cup capacity with a built in bowl scraper. Pretty handy dandy! I have a Kitchen Aid brand of food processor and I love mine. I do think though the scraper option is a nice touch. There is so many great things you can do with a food processor. From making chopping, to making salsa, sauces, and dips.

For the wineo in your life (that’s me in my families life… so not judgement here) this looks like a fun gadget. An electric wine bottle opener!

Another good sale on Macy’s website today is a canister and spice set.  If you have someone that needs more organization in their kitchen or pantry or looking to update. That’s a good deal.

Another entertaining idea is this gorgeous wood and slate cheese serving set. Or these entertaining platter set, which is heavy duty, durable, and beautiful. Score!

For someone you don’t know very well yet but you are needing a gift for, or that hard to buy for person gift baskets are an excellent choice.

This is a nice collection of Starbucks treats, wine country inspired, Stonewall brand gift set, and a gourmet fruit basket. All with the work already done for you, plus many more ideas online from Amazon that are already selected, and arranged in a nice basket. A thoughtful gift without a lot of effort on your part.

More food items would be any of these spices, baking mix or infuse oils or vinegar. Mix and match to create your own gift basket. These are awesome ideas for anyone. The awesome cook or the learning to cook or just the foodie obsessed.

What is on your wish list? And what are you buying for others this year? Share some ideas, and you could be helping others that are wondering what to buy still. Merry Christmas and happy shopping!
