Hello lovelies! Where in the world did fall go?? Don’t get me wrong I LOVE me some Christmas, but I feel the fall went by in a fun, busy blur.
This recipe is inspired by budget friendly questions, that I recently got. I will fully admit that sometimes because I only cook for my husband and myself, and the fact that I’m able to be very creative in the kitchen that a recipe isn’t as budget friendly as it could be because that isn’t always at my forefront of thought when I make recipes. I have too much fun in the kitchen.
Therefore, I’m starting a tag for budget friendly recipes on the website, and I will be more aware of sharing those types of recipes. There are several recipes on here already that are budget friendly. I will just go back and update the keyword tag so it’s easier for you to search them.
Also, I’m so sorry that I’ve been MIA lately. I do adore and love this blog and sharing with you here and on the My Rural Kitchen Facebook page. But when I’m in a funk or my life gets a little more richly scheduled then I intended for it to be, the first thing to slip is the blog. I’m sorry for that, for anyone that looks forward to a new recipe or post. I’m really planning on 2018 to be a year for the blog to develop and grow. I’m pretty damn excited about that! Lot’s of thoughts rolling around in this head right now.
Now, it’s your turn to share with me!
What recipes from the blog have been your favorite? Do you realize that I have over 50 FREE recipes on here?!
What are your favorite traditional and non traditional Christmas recipes?
What else would you like to see more of on the blog: types of recipes, tips/tricks or how to’s, cookware posts, health and nutrition or something else entirely?
